Configuring Authentication Profiles
You can create an authentication profile by using the Citrix Gateway wizard or the configuration utility. The profile contains all of the settings for the authentication policy. You configure the profile when you create the authentication policy.
With the Citrix Gateway wizard, you can use the chosen authentication type to configure authentication. If you want to configure additional authentication policies after running the wizard, you can use the configuration utility. For more information about the Citrix Gateway wizard, see Configuring Settings by Using the Citrix Gateway Wizard.
To create an authentication policy by using the configuration utility
- In the configuration utility, on the Configuration tab, expand Citrix Gateway > Policies > Authentication.
- In the navigation pane, under Authentication, select an authentication type.
- In the details pane, on the Policies tab, click Add.
- If you are using an external authentication type, next to Server, click New.
- In the Create Authentication Server dialog box, configure the settings for your authentication type, click Create and then click Close.
- In the Create Authentication Policy dialog box, next to Named Expressions, select True value, click Add Expression, click Create and then click Close.
Note: When you select an authentication type and save the authentication profile, you cannot change the authentication type. To use a different authentication type, you must create a new policy.
To modify an authentication policy by using the configuration utility
You can modify configured authentication policies and profiles, such as the IP address of the authentication server or the expression.
- In the configuration utility, on the Configuration tab, expand Citrix Gateway > Policies > Authentication.
- In the navigation pane, under Authentication, select an authentication type.
- In the details pane, on the Servers tab, select a server and then click Open.
To remove an authentication policy
If you changed or removed an authentication server from your network, remove the corresponding authentication policy from Citrix Gateway.
- In the configuration utility, on the Configuration tab, expand Citrix Gateway > Policies > Authentication.
- In the navigation pane, under Authentication, select an authentication type.
- In the details pane, on the Policies tab, select a policy and then click Remove.
